Charity Scams
Internet scams are so prevalent it is really sad, but the saddest internet scam going is charity scams. These scammers pull at the heart strings of good, honest people and promise them that if they donate, money will come back to them for their kind philanthropy. That is just pure bunk.
There is something inherently wrong with the idea that only by giving will you receive. If you think about it from a common sense point of view, giving when you have money is one thing but using it as a business is quite another.
The really sad thing about charity scams is that very little and usually none of the money you donate goes to the intended recipients. Some scammers will donate a little bit of the proceeds just to make their scam seem legitimate but even in those circumstances it is only a small percentage of what is donated.
It is always a good marketing tactic to make people think they are doing something good while making money at it, but the truth is it just doesn’t work that way. The giving part is all that really happens. That is, you giving to the charity scammers. They are the ones making the money, not you and not the supposed charity.
It is easy to see how charity scams have become so pervasive in the real world and on the internet. Especially, after a disaster has occurred. These scammers use those disasters to their advantage, telling their victims that they are making investments in recovery and will make a great return when everything shakes out.
Well, nothing ever shakes out for anyone except the scammers themselves. These charity scams have victimized tens of thousands of people and with the internet the reach for something like chain letter scams is far and wide.
There are other ways to make money at home and you should avoid these charity scams at all costs. If you want to make money from the comfort of your own home and make a good honest living consider typing at home jobs.
With a typing at home job you are producing an actual service for someone who will then pay you for your efforts. There is no nebulous internet finagling going on here. It is just your hard work, which you are fairly compensated for. The dream of working at home is obtainable as long as you avoid the scams and go legitimate.
